This is an extremely absurd aesthetic short film, just 4 minutes and 53 seconds to tell a story about desire, power, money, freedom and faith. “On a May afternoon in 1941, in the gloom of war, a Portuguese boy discovers a secret that allows him to grow gold coins, and then starts his money-growing plan in a piece of farmland......” Did the Portuguese boy's money - growing plan come true ? Do you choose to wake up at the end of the story ? These seemingly absurd philosophical questions ultimately lead to one answer : “ The seemingly rational order of production has resulted in unprecedented material prosperity , but has led to the complete externalization of people's lives and the absence of a profound inner world , with people chasing after everything they can , while turning their hearts into deserts ”.
