2021年8月28日，“时间的场”徐戈个展于杭州良渚文化艺术中心大屋顶美术馆成功开幕。本次展览共有十二件作品，这十二件作品构成了十二个时辰，徐戈邀请了十二个不同职业、不同背景的人来围绕作品进行故事接龙，文字经过不同的个体，组成了不同的叙事，它们与作品一起被定格在了那个特定的空间之中。借此艺术家得以在展览现场探讨这世界上最根本的问题——时间与空间。当你，我，他，走进展览的那一刻，也同时成为了时间流动中的一部分。
On August 28th, 2021, “The Twist of Time”, Xu Ge's solo exhibition was successfully opened at the Big Roof Art Museum of Liangzhu Culture and Art Center in Hangzhou. There are twelve works in this exhibition, these twelve works constitute twelve hours, Xu Ge invited twelve people with different occupations and backgrounds to perform a story solitaire around the works, the words pass through different individuals, forming different narratives, which are framed in that particular space together with the works. Through this, the artist is able to explore the most fundamental issues in the world - time and space - at the exhibition site. The moment you, I, he, walk into the exhibition, you become part of the flow of time at the same time.
徐戈的研究扎根于传统造型艺术，传统塑造中扎实的功夫、娴熟的技巧，在他的作品中并不缺乏，但他并不满足于自身所熟知的领域，不断尝试冲破以往的艺术认知和技艺手段，将艺术造型、电子控制、机械传动融合到创作当中。
Xu Ge's research is rooted in traditional plastic arts, and the solid work and skillful techniques in traditional shaping are not lacking in his works. However, he is not satisfied with the field he is familiar with, and he constantly tries to break through the previous artistic cognition and technical means, and integrates artistic modeling, electronic control, and mechanical transmission into his creations.
在他那里，机械部件和电子芯片等同于泥巴、金属和木材，成为一种造型媒材，并同时融入声音、光、水雾等非固体媒介加以控制。各种材料有机地组合在一起，用动态装置的方式来传达艺术家的情感。跨界的创作理念使他的作品呈现出更多的可能性。
In his case, mechanical parts and electronic chips are equated with clay, metal and wood as a modeling medium, which is simultaneously controlled by incorporating non-solid mediums such as sound, light and water mist. The various materials are organically combined together to convey the artist's emotions in the form of dynamic installations. The concept of cross-border creation makes his works present more possibilities.

发言，最后由艺术家徐戈本人发言致谢。
The opening ceremony was addressed by Song Zhenxi, the curator of the exhibition, Professor Yang Qirui, the academic host of
the exhibition, Professor Ban Lingsheng, Dean of the School of Sculpture and Public Art of China Academy of Art, Professor Ma
Qinzhong, researcher of the Research Center for Modern and Contemporary Art of the East China Normal University, Tang Yao,
Deputy Secretary General of the China Sculpture Society and Head of the Department of Academic Research, and Zhang Yan,
the General Director of the Big Roof Culture, and finally by the artist himself, Xu Ge. Acknowledgment.
徐戈希望去营造一种穿越式的空间，他把他的工作室空间和一个荒野之地进行平行的嫁接，带有声光电的作品进入到蛮荒之地当中，让科技和自然形成一种平衡的关系，而我们身体的介入成为最关键的因素。
也借此引出此次展览特别邀请浙江音乐学院程龙老师为展览现场创作的环境舞蹈。身体，是空间中真实流动的“时间”，是转瞬即逝的雕塑之美，也是空间环境与观者形成对话关系的重要媒介。 在《时间的场》中，舞者的身体将以其抽象之态，于光影的明暗交叠间，展开与装置和声场的平行“叙事”。本次演出将由三位舞者：乐欢、钟颖、严欣怡呈现。
Xu Ge hopes to create a kind of space of crossing, he grafts his studio space and a wilderness in parallel, with sound and light works into the barbaric land, so that technology and nature form a balanced relationship, and the intervention of our body becomes the most crucial factor.
It also leads to the environmental dance created by Mr. Cheng Long of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, who was specially invited to the exhibition. The body is the real flowing “time” in the space, the beauty of the fleeting sculpture, and the important medium for the formation of a dialog between the spatial environment and the viewer. In “The Field of Time”, the dancers' bodies will develop a parallel “narrative” with the installation and the sound field through their abstraction and the overlapping of light and shadow. The performance will be presented by three dancers: Le Huan, Zhong Ying and Yan Xinyi.
展中活动： 时间的使者——展览手工工作坊
Activity in the Exhibition:
Messengers of Time - Exhibition Craft Workshop
学员在艺术家的带领下参观展览，由艺术家讲解创作风格、创作意图、创作经历和相关艺术知识，让学员充分感受和理解展览，深度与艺术家接触。
Participants are led by artists to visit the exhibition, and the artists will explain the creative style, creative intention, creative experience and related art knowledge, so that the participants can fully feel and understand the exhibition, and deeply contact with the artists.
学员将画在绘本上的小鸟转移到机械小鸟的小型装置中，自选颜色多样的亚克力彩色板，用马克笔在上面绘画，并完成组装。通过转动底部的手柄，转动齿轮，让小鸟动起来。学员将带着属于自己独一无二的绘本故事和机械小鸟回家。
Participants transfer the bird drawn in a picture book to a small mechanical bird unit, choose their own acrylic colored board in a variety of colors, draw on it with markers, and complete the assembly. By turning the handle at the bottom, they turn the gears to make the bird move. Participants will go home with their own unique illustrated story and mechanical bird.
本次展览作品搭配艺术绘本，学员将在艺术家的讲解中了解绘本中的故事，并根据自己的理解，从角色“小鸟”出发，创作新的绘本故事。
The exhibition is accompanied by art picture books. Participants will learn about the stories in the picture books from the artist's
explanations and create new picture book stories from the character “Birdie” according to their own interpretations.
